No Club Access

I heard on the radio recently that the cast of Jersey Shore is having trouble getting into clubs. They are being denied entry because the club must sign a waiver that the cast is not responsible if cops are called, things are broken, or fights happen. The clubs do not want to take this liability on their hands. They would rather just not allow the cast in. The Jersey Shore cast was famous for the drama that followed them around, and many Miami clubs don't want their names associated with that sort of thing. I guess Miami does not want the Jersey drama going on in their establishments. They also think that having them in the clubs will instigate club-goers to pick a fight with the cast to gain their few minutes of fame. I heard that the second half of the season will be back in Jersey though, so hopefully they will feel better when they are at home.

No Spin Offs for Jersey Shore

It was said that MTV was going to create shows about persian americans and other groups partying as spin offs of Jersey Shore. An MTV spokeswoman confirmed that the network was not involved any spin off shows. They are working on their season two of Jersey Shore though.

The original Jersey Shore cast is busy filming in Miami, and will be returning to New Jersey soon. It is said that we may meet a few new cast members this season also. They will still focus on the origional cast members though.

Book on the way...

It is news that Jenni "J-wow" Farley and Ronnie, castmembers from Jersey Shore, are writing a book for all the fans that want to hear more. The book will be titled "Never Fall In Love at the Jersey Shore". It is described as a guide on how to look and act in Jersey. It will inform people on how to balance maintaining a certain look and partying with every day life things such as working, school, relationships, etc. Many people are questioning if the fans of jersey shore will care to read a book by the cast members. There are a few million regular viewers though, so most are expecting the book to sell. Another concern about the sale of the book is that it is not written by the biggest star, Snooki! I guess we will all have to wait and see what really happens to the cast, thier book, and if season two will hold up!

The Jersey shore is everywhere!

I have noticed more and more that people are talking about the jersey shore. They are saying things like "yeah he got snooked" to mean that someone got hit. It is in reference to when the character, Snookie, got punched in the face at a bar. People are also just using jersey lingo more than ever. When I was shopping in mandees yesterday I saw t-shirts about the jersey shore. They are everywhere! The show was obviously a hit if people are still talking about it and the season ended some time ago. Another thing people are waiting for is season 2. As much as they say "oh God i can't believe these people get a second season...that sucks" and similar statements, they would not be talking about it if they were not interested. That is exactly what MTV wanted; to cause controversy. They wanted people to love and to hate the characters of the show so it would give everyone something to talk about. I even hear teachers talking about the cast in the teachers lounge during lunch at my student teaching! Jersey shore is huge here, because we all live it, but even people hundreds of miles away are interested in it now! People are getting excited to get down the shore especially because we had such nice weather the past few days! So that is making people think of the show even more.

Snookie Found Love

The castmate of Jersey Shore that was having the most trouble finding love (or anything close to that) has finally met someone! Snooki found love! She met a great guy who apparently treats her like the princess that she claims to be. His name is Emillio and he is a personal trainer at Golds Gym. They are getting serious and already have discussed him appearing on season two of Jersey Shore. He would only be appearing because they would not want to be away from eachother for the entire filming, so he says. Others claim that he is simply using Snooki for publicity. Emillio also gives away some secrets about Snooki. Apparently that party girl that we see on tv is not the real Snooki at all. He claims that she is really laid back and down to earth and not that crazy girl that the show makes her out to be.

More drama about the Jersey Shore

In an interview recently on Fox's Strategy Room a cast member, Jenny "J-WOW" Farley, admitted that her and a few other cast members of the show were not even italian. This upset alot of fans, because they felt they could relate to the show because they were italian americans in New Jersey also. The term guido or guidette is something all of the cast members used to describe themselves. This origionally was a derogatory term for italians. Now J-WOW says that she is a guidette because of the lifestyle she lives and does not have to be italian to be one. This really offends some people, because they do not like a term for themselves to be used on other poeple. Some people of the italian community are relieved that not all the castmates are italian, because they believe the show gives a bad name to the italian people.

Also there is going to be a season two of Jersey Shore. I do not know how this works, but it will be filmed in Miami South Beach. Talk of spinoffs is also going on. J-WOW wants her own show with MTV following her around the hamptons, and Snookie wants a show about her looking for love.

Episode #2

In episode 2 drama is coming from all ends in the shore house. Snookie, looking for sympathy and attention, is threatening to leave the shore house and return home. If I were in the house I would have said whatever and let her take her pity party elsewhere, but Sammi finally convinces her to stay. They do not call her sweetheart for nothing. There is also something to talk about when JWow hooks up with Pauly D in the club. She totally forgets her boyfriend back home. The main event in the episode is the begining of the love triangle between Sammi, Ronnie, and Mike. This may cause some real tension in the house in future episodes.
