Episode 1

The season kicks off with all of the roommates entering the house and picking their rooms. Everyone is getting to know each other and forming bonds. One roommate, Snookie, appears to be way to outgoing and flat out crazy. She is trying too hard and becomes the outcast of the group. She gets way too drunk and passes out. Meanwhile the other seven roommates go to the boardwalk and start checking out their surroundings. She wakes up and wonders where everyone went. I would not want to bring her either; if she acts like that when meeting people for the first time I would not want to be seen in public with her.

Sammi and Mike start some kind of romance, but mike messes that up when he brings back three girls to go in the hot tub with him and his friends. She gets over it pretty quickly though. I think Mike is acting like a jerk so he gets the title he wants. He is there to have fun- so let him have fun. There are way too many people at the shore for either of them to be caught up on eachother after one night. They both need to get out there and have fun.

The Characters

This is the first blog I am writing about the MTV show, Jersey Shore. I am writing today about the characters on this reality TV show that takes place in Sea Side, New Jersey.

Mike (The Situation)- His main goal is to act like the "player" that he is not. He seems like he is a nice guy trying to be obnoxious to fit in.

Vinny- He is probably the most normal out of the group. He does not try too hard and looks like he just is there to have a good time.

Paul “DJ Pauly D”- He is very conscious about his looks (especially the hair) and is on a mission to meet girls at the shore.

Ronnie- He is the most down to earth out of the male characters, and seems very loyal to his girl Sammi.

Angelina “Jolie”- She is a drama queen, and it was funny while it lasted, but she is not on the show anymore so we do not have to worry about writing about her.

Jenni J-WOWW- She sometimes seems like a good person when dealing with her friends, but she loves the drama more than anything.

Nicole “Snooki”- She is out of her mind. From her first appearance in the first episode you can tell she just wants to be the center of attention and will do anything to get it.

Sammi “Sweetheart”- She is dating Ronnie and seems to be alright. She did start problems by flirting with Mike first and then dating Ronnie.

That is all I will say about the characters for now. The show seems alright. I spend most of my summers in Sea Side and some of the things that happen in this show are things I have seen, but they are all dramatized for the purpose of being on TV. The characters in the show make every situation more than it actually is.
